Such a Busy Summer!

Our summer has been very busy! Mia has enjoyed visiting with her family - both in Texas and in Connecticut. She has had so much fun with Mimi, Grammy, Auntie Becca, and Grandad and Grandma Janelle.

Mia went on her very first plane ride to Connecticut at the beginning of July and she did such a great job! We went to surprise Grandma Dolly for her 80th birthday party. We spent time with Grandpa and Grandma Suey, Uncle Adam, and Uncle Andrew. One morning, Mia went with Mommy, Daddy, and Uncle Jay to visit Mimi's parents, Grandpa and Grandma Nancy. Mia also met all of her other aunts, uncles, and cousins - who knew she had so many! Cousin Nicole even bought her a cute shirt that says "Somebody Loves Me in Connecticut."

In just one week Mia will have her very first Meet the Teacher night. She will be going to the Frisco Child Development Center in the fall. It is a fabulous school, just down the street from Mommy, with NAEYC accreditation - which is a very prestigious accreditation to have! Mia loves to socialize with other babies, as we have seen at our weekly play time at Gymboree Play and Music, so she will have a blast at the CDC.

We look forward to seeing what the fall has in store for us. It's hard to believe how much Mia has grown in such a short time!
