Her last checkup was at four months. She weighed 16 pounds and was 24.8 inches long. That was a month ago, so you can only imagine what her stats are now!
So much has happened since we last posted. Mia is now eating some solid foods. We started her on rice cereal and have since switched her to oatmeal. She is also eating baby peas and baby green beans. She seems to like everything she has tried so far, but it is so funny to watch her take her first bite of something new! Mia seems to take after her mommy when it comes to eating her baby food - we can't feed her fast enough!
We also celebrated Mia's first Memorial Day. Mia went swimming for the first time at Uncle Jay's. She wasn't too sure what to think of the water. Daddy held her and they swam around the pool a little bit, and then Mia chilled on a raft, taking in everything around her.
We went to Grandad and Grandma Janelle's house for a cookout. Mia will be eating her very own burger and hotdog soon enough!
Mia loves playing and jumping in her jumperoo.
She is most content when moving and standing. She still doesn't want to have anything to do with being on her tummy, but she is trying very hard to sit up on her own.Now, if only we could get her to take a nap........
