Mia had her two month check-up today. She's definitely a growing girl! Mia now weighs 11 lbs 4 oz and is 22 1/2 in long. As soon as Dr. Weiser came into the room, she said "She definitely has some cheeks on her!" - Mia and Mommy just laughed and said how cute those chubby cheeks are! Dr. Weiser agreed.Today was the first round of vaccinations, which was definitely an experience! Mia had two shots, one in each leg, and one oral vaccine. She was not a happy camper after that! And, to top it all off, it was pouring BUCKETS outside when we left the doctor's office.
Mia was very fussy for the remainder of the day, and had just a touch of fever. She did not nap well, so it made for a very stressful and tiring afternoon.
This past weekend Mia wa
s very busy, and spent time with a bunch of family. On Friday, she went to lunch with Mimi and Mommy at Mi Cocina. On Saturday, she went to Grandad and Janelle's house for her great-grandmother Grams' birthday party, where she saw her Auntie Becca, her cousin Shelly, and her Uncle Lynn. After that she went to stay with Grammy for a few hours while mommy and daddy had a much needed night out!We can't wait to visit our family in Connecticut!
